Helloooooo world!! My first blog post! I suppose this is going to be about what I am up to, where I am in this endeavor to be a professional artist. The last year or so I have continued working through the Language of Painting program, in addition to teaching a charcoal and pastel class at the Oklahoma Academy of Classical Art. I enjoy teaching and get great fulfillment from seeing my students progress.
In October, I was in an exhibition at Lovett’s Gallery in Tulsa, OK with Ani Art Academy apprentices and affiliates. Many artists were in attendance and it was so great to see everyone. I miss them very much!
Currently I am working through the sphere repetition portion of the curriculum as well as the above creative piece, which is unnamed at this time! It has been a challenge. Pretty small, being a 5 X 7, with so much visual information. I have learned a lot while working through this and am pleased with my progress so far!
